Our alternative proposals place the proposed housing on the west side of the site, away from the critical biodiversity wildlife habitat in the centre.  This is an open area of grass with minimal biodiversity.  By situating the housing on the west side, this frees up the central area to serve as a good wildlife corridor, as denoted by the black dotted lines in the third sketch.  

By contrast the developer's proposals have placed their housing in the centre and have wiped out the critical biodiversity area
