How To Object
Please ensure:
Further objections are based on the new information from the developers (if you have not objected previously).
The objections are factual - these carry much more weight than ones of a general sentiment. So '...traffic is already too busy in the rush hours on the Ridge...' is too vague whereas '.... I have waited in my car for up to 5 minutes at Chowns Hill to get onto The Ridge, by Sandrock Bends....' is much better.
Objections are personal to you - how the changes impact you. Do not just copy/ paste from other documents.
Objections can be made at:
If you have a video or photo that you wish to upload onto the planning portal, eg of flooding or the hedge dividing the fields, then that can be done by emailing the Planning Dept at planning@hastings.gov.uk, but you must also include the planning reference in your email HS/OA/25/00219 and also state that your email is an OBJECTION
We appreciate that this will all take time but if you want your objections to have impact then make them substantive and factual.
We have tried to help you by providing 'Supporter Notes' on the three main topics, which can be found by clicking on the buttons below.
Please read these and use topics from them for your objections that you feel most relate to your experiences of the site.
